So, this is the first blog. In this blog I’m simply going to explain how far the album has come along. And… Talk about some random stuff. Right, let’s begin.
The album:
Most of you probably know… I lost all my files during a ransomware attack. But wait, you had it backed surely? Yep, but stupid me kept the drive connected all the time. So even the external drive was struck…
Now… I have everything backed up in the cloud as soon as I start working on a project. So it won’t happen again.
I had three songs finished, but I don’t want to re-record those tracks. Why? Simply that I don’t have a passion for re-doing them. I’d rather make fresh new tracks. Of those new tracks, there’s one almost done and a ton of unfinished ideas. Progress… That’s what we need right now.
Personal:
Personally I’m going through some rough waters right now. It’s not all bad though. I mean, at the very least it can be used to write new songs. Work is going well. Steady trying to build up the hours.
Furthermore also working on Beats. For the album and Jordi’s Beats. (That’s my beat brand). Even though that isn’t the main focus right now, it does need attention so that that grows too. It’s cool because it’s easier to create content for the channel.
The flip-side is that the tutorials that I do over there take time to edit. So the content itself is there but editing is time consuming. All good, all I have to do is find a schedule to manage that. That’s 30% of the battle in any business.
Other stuff:
The point of these blogs are that you guys as fans can follow me on the journey of my career in this game. So, expect, backstage footage video blogs, and previews of new material. The point is, I’m trying to create a central place where I can speak to you, interact, and connect.
Don’t worry. I’ll also try to release other songs in the meantime. After all, how am I going to get my reach up otherwise? Now, I don’t mean pushing music out the door just to put music out. Genuine tracks as always. Oh, now that I’m talking about tracks there’s currently a collaboration in the works. I’ll update you guys as soon as I know more.
